O2 is a combination of ofloxacin and ornidazole. Ofloxacin is a fluoro-quinolone antibiotic that inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase, blocking DNA synthesis and producing bactericidal action. Ornidazole is a nitroimidazole with superior efficacy and long duration of action, disrupting DNA function of susceptible microorganisms. This combination provides high efficacy, broad antimicrobial spectrum, low incidence of side effects and excellent tolerance.
Each film coated tablet contains:
One tablet twice daily for adults.
Nausea, vomiting, headache and metallic taste may occur in few cases.
Hypersensitivity to ingredients and pregnancy.
