The aims and objectives of the Employment Relations Tribunal are as follows:
- Settlement of labour disputes;
- Determination of labour disputes in the Civil Service and in the Private Sector;
- Hear appeals from the decision of the Conciliation and Mediation Commission;
- Promotion of harmonious industrial relations.
