The eclectic and vibrant nightlife in Mauritius is reflected in the variety of nightclubs now in existence on the island. Tourists mostly frequent the clubs in the tourist hubs of Grand Bay on the northern coast and Flic-en-Flac on the western coast. There are a range of music styles to be found in these venues, from English and French pop music, to house, techno, drum and bass and jazz.
Clubs in the North
In Grand Bay, some of the most popular clubs include:

- Banana Beach Club
- Safari Bar
- Alkatraz
- Les Enfants Terribles (open air bar area)
Clubs in the West
In Flic-en-Flac, there are a number of popular nightclubs including:
- Buddha Bar
- Shotz, an open-air nightclub on the Coastal Road
- Summer Beach Bar Lounge, that feature live music
- Kenzi Bar, a pub that features live music
- Lakaz Cascavelle, located at the Cascavelle shopping mall, features live music and DJs
- Big Willy’s, a restaurant/bar/nightclub where you can enjoy live music as well as DJs. It is found down the road from Flic-en-Flac in Tamarin.
Clubs in the central region
In the central region of the island, there are also pubs like Flying Dodo at the Bagatelle mall, and The Irish in Trianon, that often have live music on Friday or Saturday nights with popular happy hour offers on drinks.
In Ebene, bars like Kas Poz and clubs like Altitude also host DJs and live music. If Bollywood music is more your style, there are venues in urban centres like Curepipe, Rose Hill and Beau Bassin that are very popular.
