1. Orders

• We prefer at least 7 days notice for all custom orders, as we are often booked in advance.
• We can accommodate last-minute orders if we have availability.
• Any product ordered from a photo or inspiration image will be created as our interpretation of that design and will not be an exact replica.

2. Payments & Booking

• Your event date is considered booked and work begins only after full payment is received.
• Work begins only after full payment is received.
• If payment is not made by the deadline, The Cakes Nest reserves the right to cancel the order.
• All orders must be fully paid before the product leaves the premises.

3. Refunds & Cancellations

• We do not offer refunds or exchanges for custom orders.
• Cancellation 21 days before your event: refund minus supplies
• Less than 7 days before event: No refunds.
• Refunds (if applicable) are issued within 30 days.

4. Unforeseen Circumstances

• If we must cancel due to illness or unforeseen issues, your deposit will be fully refunded within 7 days.

5. Pickup & Delivery

• Once picked up or delivered, The Cakes Nest is not responsible for any damage.
• Cakes must be transported on a flat, cool, stable surface.
• If customer is unavailable at delivery, order will be returned for customer pickup.
• Please be on time for pickups.

6. Safety, Allergens & Internal Supports

• Products are made in a kitchen that processes wheat, eggs, dairy, soy, and nuts.
• Customers must inform guests of allergens.
• Cakes may contain dowels, toothpicks, or gum paste wires.
• Do not smash faces into cakes; we are not responsible for accidents.

7. Photography & Advertising

• The Cakes Nest may use photos or videos of your order for social media or marketing unless requested otherwise in writing.

8. Additional Terms

• After pickup or delivery, The Cakes Nest is not liable for damages.
• Customers are responsible for proper handling, storage, and transportation.
• Paying the deposit means you agree to all policies and terms.
