This type of trading can either be short-term (day trading) or long term (position trading).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The SEM (Stock exchange Mauritius) allows stock trading to be done in Mauritius. The SEM was established on 30 March 1989 it was a private company and now is known to be a public one. Their activities are overseen by the Financial service commission (FSC). The Stock Exchange Mauritius operates two markets. Firstly, we have the Official Market- This is the main market where the majority of companies are listed, and the second one is the development and enterprises market (DEM) serves developing business as well as SME\u2019s.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you wish to start investing on the stock Market but do not know how to start, the MCB have stockbroking services with this service they will be able to help you to create an investment portfolio. You will also have an investment advisory who will be able to answer your questions, and help you.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When investing in stock it is important to understand the risk of this market, and invest only what you can afford. Avoid putting yourselves in financial trouble.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Commodity Trading<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Commodity trading refers to the selling and buying of physical goods. For example in Mauritius: Sugar, tea, spices, and seafood and other things.
